DUTY FREE HAUL!

I have recently returned from a luscious holiday to Lanzarote! I return feeling tanned and ready to rumble. On the way to Lanzarote however, we dare to venture into the depths of duty free shopping! Now of course, any make up addicts like myself will know it is practically impossible to survive duty free without purchasing at least something.
First, in MAC, I got a lipstick in the shade Coral Bliss. It is a creamsheen lipstick and is a pale pinky colour with a slight orangey coral tint. As it is a cream sheen it is extremely moisturizing and is great for those muggy summer months when your lips get a little dry from the arduous weather. However because it is a creamsheen, it also means you have to apply a few layers to achieve a deeper, darker colour. This is a perfect colour for summer.

Secondly, I brought a second MAC Paint Pot, in the colour Vintage Selection. A Paint Pot is a pro-longwear cream eyeshadow. Putting into words how much I adore this is simply impossible. The texture is so creamy and light-weight and purely delectable. The colour is heavenly. A champagney-pinky colour with a delicate silver sparkle that brings out my big brown eyes. I get so much use out of it: during the day when I cannot be bothered to do lots of fancy blending stuff; for evenings out where I either haven't had time to plan my make up out or I haven't enough time to do something adventurous! Whatever you wear it for, you can depend that it will always look amazing and effortless. This product has simply amazing staying power, I even wore it to the gym once and it didn't smudge, crease or show any signs of budging. Strongly recommend.
(These pictures totally do not do it justice and the quality is quite frankly catastrophic. The swatch is also very rushed and messy!)

Lastly I purchased a Benefit Mini Set in ' The Bronze Of Champions'. This contains: A mini 'Watt's Up' highlighter, a mini bronzer called 'Hoola', a mini cream eyeshadow in the colour 'bikini-tini', an eyeshadow in the colour 'thanks a latte', a 'Hoola' lipgloss, and a mini 'They're Real!' mascara.
I think this set is brilliant! At aiport prices it was £22.05 for all of that, and they are all products I would use! I endlessly adore this bronzer and when I finish this mini one I am debating buying a new full-sized one! The highlighter creates a stunning, light-reflecting look that will never fail to amaze me with how natural yet eye-catching it looks. The mascara literally creates a false- lash effect, however it is a royal pain in the you-know-what to get off. Moreover, I seem to have fallen in love with Benefit now; all down to this little box of goodies. Cream-eyeshadows are my thing right now, and 'bikini-tini' is a gorgeous colour with an extremely light-weight texture. Definitely an extremely exciting buy there!

Forgive me - this doesn't technically count. My friend brought me another product from her trip to duty-free, so I didn't really buy it myself, but I think it counts all the same. My friend brought me a MAC Lipstick in 'Plumful' on my request. I wore this tonight; I have found a winner. It is beautiful. I love plum tones for lipsticks, but I quiver in my small booties at the thought of working up the courage to actually wear them. This however, is the perfect wearable plum toned lippy. I admit, it is more of an autumnal colour however I think it is perfect for all year round. It is a lustre finish, therefore it is not a full-pelt massively dark colour. It is what I would describe as, as natural as a plum lipstick could get. It is quite long wearing, striking yet not over-bearing on the face, and just very complimenting. Very Happy Girlie!
(Again, this picture doesn't do it justice, it isn't hugely clear.)
Thank you very much for reading; I hope you enjoyed.
